Our club built the South Plains Lions branch of the Boys Club in East Lubbock back in the fifties. In 1988, we re-named the branch in honor of long-time unit director, Theodore “Ted” Phea. We have actively supported that club both monetarily and with volunteer hours over the last six decades.
